Three is the perfect number for a pub quiz team, no? Enough heads to cover a variety of subjects but not enough to confuse matters, and an odd number is handy if you're arguing between two numbers ... and lo, three-headed comedy beast Pappy's (plus special guest) participate in the pub quiz at the Wenlock Arms, Old Street. Much to the bafflement of the locals, who don't appear prepared for Pappy's's input.
Ah you can always rely on Terry Saunders to come up with the goods on sentimental subject matters such as Christmas. Except this is a deeply unsentimental monologue from a character who's really not into this time of year. Especially the incessant mince pie offerings. Still, as ever with Saunders, it's a story beautifully told.
Britain's latest hate figure is Gillian McKeith BA (Hons), currently winding people up something chronic on I'm A Celebrity. She could barely get any more unpopular if she suddenly announced a raft of swingeing education cuts. And McKeith is the subject of Brett Domino's latest number.

This inventive, gregarious stand-up has been translating the bullet-ridden rapper's twitter feed, and did it so damn well he amassed more than 50,000 followers and was picked up by Perez Hilton for goodness sake.
By sheer coincidence, Mr O'Neill has a solo show coming up at Leicester Square Theatre, which you ought to check out. Anyway, here's the culmination of O'Neill's work as @English50Cent.
EXCITING. Partridge fans, it's here. The first of 11 new web episodes has arrived and you'll notice that Tim Key is Partridge's right-hand man and new best friend, Sidekick Simon. Works very nicely indeed I'm sure you'll agree. Will Andrews also stars as the unfortunate guest who can't get a word in. So without further ado ...
No doubt about the big story of the week – little George and his big cuts. In order to show that this new age of austerity doesn't have to mean a life of misery, recent Mock the Weeker Carl Donnelly – an old-school leftie – has been making some pretty tough decisions of his own ...
